End of the School Year in the Sign of the Senses
Joint June Cultural Outing
The approaching end of the school year traditionally opens up space for shared experiences outside the school building. The first-year students of our grammar school, accompanied by their class teachers, headed into the center of Prague. Each class had its own program. While one class opted for light-hearted entertainment, the other embarked on an experience that forces one to think deeply.

A World Where Your Eyes Deceive You

The students of 1.A visited the Museum of Fantastic Illusions in Vodičkova Street. The event took place in a light-hearted, pleasant, and relaxed spirit. The students enjoyed a fascinating world of optical illusions, unusual paintings, and interactive exhibits. It was a great opportunity for informal fun, taking funny snapshots, and relaxing. The museum offered exactly what students need at the end of the year – a visually attractive experience where they could have fun together.
When You Have to Leave Your Sight at the Door
Meanwhile, the students of 1.B headed to the Invisible Exhibition, which was a deep and unforgettable experience for all participants. The students found themselves in absolute darkness, where, under the guidance of blind guides, they had to rely exclusively on their hearing and touch. They tried navigating a simulated busy environment as well as a regular household and searched for hidden objects by touch. After leaving the darkness, they also had space for open questions directly to the guides about their everyday life, and at the end, they tried out special games and aids that make functioning in our world easier for the blind.
