Scandinavian house

Our partner institute
The Scandinavian House is a Czech non-profit organization that has long been dedicated to presenting the culture of the countries of the European North and developing Czech-Nordic cultural relations. Its goal is to bring the Nordic countries closer to the Czech environment through educational, cultural and social activities.

What does the Scandinavian House do?
The Scandinavian House operates as a cultural and educational institute. It organizes literary events, meetings with writers, discussions with experts, film screenings, professional and popularization lectures, and other thematic programs focused on the Nordic countries.
Scandinavian House and Grammar School MICHAEL
Grammer School Michael has established a partnership with the Scandinavian House. This gives high school students the opportunity to use the Scandinavian House's membership benefits and participate in activities that expand their education with the cultural, social, and value context of the Nordic countries.
The partnership naturally complements the concept of the Grammar School MICHAEL, which draws inspiration from Scandinavian educational approaches and emphasizes a broader understanding of the world, culture, and contexts outside the school environment.
