School history
Grammar School MICHAEL builds on more than thirty years of educational tradition within the MICHAEL school network.
Where it started?
In 1994, the Michael Secondary School of Advertising and Artistic Creation was established, providing education in the areas of management, production, and artistic specializations such as photography, filmmaking, graphic design, interior design, and game design. The teaching is based on connecting theory with practice, student cooperation across disciplines, and the involvement of experts from the field.
Today, Grammar School MICHAEL builds on this experience as a general grammar school that is based on values inspired by the Scandinavian educational approach and reflects them in its teaching.
Our grammar school expands the network of schools sharing the same MICHAEL DNA
The grammar school builds on the experience and know-how of the MICHAEL group schools and utilizes their facilities and premises. Mutual cooperation enables the sharing of professional capacity and support across individual schools.
In the 2025/2026 academic year, we opened two classes for the first time, with a capacity of 24 students per class.
School facilities and premises
The 2025/26 school year begins at the Michael School – Secondary School, Grammar School, and Higher Vocational School, Machkova 1646, Prague 4.
From 2026, we plan to move classes to the new premises of the grammar school near the Arkády Pankrác shopping center, Horáčkova Street.
